MARRUS ART

Wow....
I'm in awe of my friend, Jen Marrus (though it's always "Marrus" when referring to her... don't EVER call her Jen unless you want your head verbally lopped off). She is an artist that everyone should know and experience at least once.

She has a uniquely fascinating mind, which is made all the more interesting now that she's hauled butt down to New Orleans to reside.

Today she unveiled her newest piece (which you can see by going to her website and clicking on her LiveJournal link and scrolling to the May 18th entry). Her newest work is positively moving. I love several of her pieces, especially "Suicide Tree" but I like this one the best.

Please... all of you, my friends, go to her site and support a wonderful artist. If you can afford to, buy a lithograph of one of her artworks (click on any picture and it will tell you the price of the original and/or a print)... better yet, buy the original if you're so inclined and wealthy enough to do so!

This lady has inspired me to write a new novel-in-the-works that encompasses her, Jay her long-suffering(?) husband, KinkWink her cat and all the other people we have in common.
