Tookie

At 12:01 Pacific Time, the State of California will execute a Tookie

Tonight, Stanley "Tookie" Williams is scheduled to die by lethal injection. Brother Tookie has never said he's sorry for murdering four unarmed people in cold blood - in fact, he claims "innocence!" (what criminal doesn't?)

In reality, "Tookie" is the co-founder of that group of street thugs known as The Crips; one of the most violent, malevolent and evil street gangs ever to hit urban areas. Their touch was even felt down in the lily-white farming community of Lowell, Indiana that I called home for 14 years. This gang of hoodlums has played "shoot-em-up" in many lower-income urban neighborhoods, addicted tens of thousands of fools onto drugs and has forced untold numbers of females into sexual slavery as whores.

And remember now, Tookie helped found this group.

And he wanted clemency?

But his luck has run out. I mean, if the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals says "no", you can bet that The Arnold wasn't going to say "oh, wait a moment!"

Yes, it's easy to say, "I did wrong" after the fact. It's easy to write anti-gang books after you've founded the worst of the gangs. But your legacy lives on, Tookie... or should I say, it kills on.

And, as further proof that liberalism is indeed the new fascism, every sappy, bleeding-heart from Follywood has come out in favor of "clemency." Ed Asner, who specializes now in looking dour and world-weary, made an appearance on Fox News stating his (albeit weak) case. Another actor, Mike Farrell, who played B.J. Hunnicutt on M*A*S*H came out and spoke about how much Tookie's mindset has changed pyschologically. You could almost hear him say, "I'm not a doctor, but I played one on TV, so my opinion is important!" Sorry Mike... You didn't play the shrink.

It's easy for these Follywood Fools to go on about how he's changed. He isn't going to be living in their neighborhood... and they have so much money that they feel guilty about it and want all the rest of California to continue paying for Tookie's college education, the weight room, cable TV, free medical, free dental, free food, etc. Thankfully it ain't gonna happen. They paid for it for 24 years too long.
